PHP surpassed C++ and gained 3rd place on the TIOBE

TIOBE Software has announced its updates to programming language popularity index.

For the first time PHP gained 3rd place surpassing C++ in popularity.

TIOBE Index is created monthly based on requests in Google, MSN, Yahoo!, Wikipedia and recently YouTube.

The leaders are Java(#1) and C(#2) without changes.
