Update to 10.5.8:
1. Use software update from Apple for apps except for the 10.5.8 update itself
2. Use iDeneb.Delta.Upgrade.v1058 KIT
3. Remove extension ApplePS2Controller.kext (use one from 10.5.7: VoodooPS2Controller.kext - they won't work together)
4. Install seatbelt fix for your kernel: *Updated 08/09* DMG mounting issues & Seatbelt.kext (New Versions, Files included) - InfiniteMac OSx86 Community (or some DMG will cause kernel panic)
Fix Audio Input on ALC262 (Realtek HDA):
1. Remove VoodooHDA.kext (or whatever used for audio output)
2. Install ALCInject.kext & AppleHDA.kext from ALC262 driver with headphone speaker and mic - InsanelyMac Forum
3. Install Sound Source tool (to switch output)
PS: when "remove kext" simply delete it from /System/Library/Extensions
when "install kext" use Kext Helper b7 (don't forget to repair permissions and boot with -v -f afterwards)
PPS: I have triple boot with Vista Home Premium (comes with the laptop pre-installed), Ubuntu Linux 9.10 & Hackintosh:
1. Shrink Vista partition with Disk Manager from Manage My Computer or use EASEUS Partition Master 4.1.1 Home Edition (works just fine)
2. Use guide "How To Dual Boot Windows & OSx86 on same drive.pdf" from iATKOS
